Why choose Paste for your composite bonding?

Over time teeth can become worn and chipped, making them look aged, tired and often stained. Small gaps or misshapen teeth can affect your confidence.

Composite bonding is a simple yet revolutionary way of achieving a naturally beautiful smile by reshaping and re-contouring your teeth to give a more balanced smile, designed in tandem with our clinicians, bespoke for you.

Composite bonding is reversible, lasts from 5-7 years (if maintained properly) and protects the underlying tooth avoiding the need for enamel cutting, preparation or removal - win!

So why come to Paste for your composite bonding?

Each dentist at Paste has trained globally in the art of composite bonding!

Dr. Marshall Hanson, Dr. Monik Vasant and Dr. Newton Fahl are literally world leaders in this craft and have taught our dentists hands-on in their art. Yes were have travelled thousands of miles to learn from them!

At Paste we only use the best dental materials available world-wide. Shipped from America, ordered from Europe and landed in Belfast!

Advances in technology, the strength and the beauty of these materials mean that a beautifully symmetrical smile doesn’t require the removal of the enamel of your teeth to still achieve amazing results!

Smile design is an art in itself!

Our dentists are not only trained using the best materials, it’s the art of the design process that makes a smile symmetrical, balanced and naturally beautiful. Alan has trained in Spear, Scottsdale Arizona and is a participating member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Paste brings these design concepts and philosophies to Belfast for the first time, thoughtful bespoke cosmetic dentistry, done well.

We are often asked why do we charge for a consultation, why is this not free like in other clinics?

There are lots of different techniques out there when it comes to composite bonding. Just like we have mentioned you really do get what you pay for and this is not a cookie cutter product at Paste.

Each dentist at Paste will start by assessing your bite and your smile. We first need to work out why your teeth look like they do, for instance, wear patterns, incisal edge chipping, basically how have you got to where you are.

We then treatment plan your smile based on your history so that we try out best to avoid failure in the future.

Jaw joint analysis and treatment planning with respect to the forces and movements in your mouth makes for much better success and lets us test-run composite if a more long-term solution is desired in 10-15 years.

We take a series of photographs, oral digital scans and bite analysis and use the concepts of fiscally generated treatment planning to ensure your smile design works with your lips, face shape, age and bite to give beautiful lasting results!

So long story short, lol we charge because we need to take the time to plan this properly!

Composite Edge Bonding vs. Composite Veneers vs. Injection Moulding?? - I’m not a dentist/Explain

So there are many techniques out there, including adding composite to the edge of your teeth and allowing the upper portion of your natural tooth to show, fully covering the front of your tooth so that a highly polished glass-like filling material now changes the appearance of your whole tooth, or getting a dental lab to make a mould where we inject heated composite material following a complete smile resign. Again something that we discuss in detail with you and create a bespoke solution to give long term success!

Not every technique is right for everyone so definitely a discussion to be had!

Still your teeth, but the best version of your smile.

Our team are here to help, care and be part of the journey with you!
