At Paste dental Belfast we were so fortunate to partner with Pearl AI, an unbelievably innovative tech company from Los Angeles, using machine learning to let us pull accurate measurable data regarding dental caries.
Using the routine radiographs we take in a dental clinic, we now have the amazing ability to pull objective data, showing exactly where carious lesions are present, the size, extent and the proportional location by percentage in tooth enamel and dentine.
This is a game changer for us! Providing not just our clinical assessment, but an impartial data driven assessment pulling objective measurable data that you can see and learn from.
Building a treatment plan from this foundation allows you to take full control of your dental health, being presented with the objective facts and then deciding based on the data, indeed how you want to proceed.
You are in control, you have the data and the facts and you then can make educated decisions about your own health, health optimisation and preventative strategy to future proof your dental health going forward.
We have been one od the first practices in the UK to trial and embrace this technology and have been fully supported by the Pearl AI team in maximising it’s clinical outcomes for our patients at Paste Dental.
